Festival Info
Festival of Trees
is Greater Danbury’s signature holiday event
and the largest
annual fundraiser
for Ann’s Place.
Festival was created in 2003 as an invitation to the community to participate in a family-friendly holiday gathering that also underwrites the clinical services and programs that support and guide anyone on a cancer journey, including patients, family, and loved ones.

Festival volunteers came together to create this treasured tradition and continue to operate it today. Our Leadership Board and its larger Festival Committee and subcommittees meet 11 months of the year to keep this tradition fresh and exciting. In its first 17 years, Festival raised over $3.4 million, to support area cancer patients. Hundreds of volunteers and scores of organizations enable Festival of Trees to grow and delight families in a whole new generation. We are so excited to bring Festival magic to your computer or device screen in 2020 in its Holidays@Home edition.
Every year Festival relies on talented volunteers to help lead, organize and staff the event. Please contact Kimberley@annsplace.org
if you would like to be involved. Still in planning stages now, we will identify new ways to participate later this year. With the advent of new ways to effectively fight Covid-19, we hope to return to traditional Festival volunteer positions in 2021. Only with your community involvement can we continue the delivering of comprehensive clinical, wellness and educational services to our neighbors living with cancer in their most challenging hours.
