Protecting individual privacy and confidentiality whenever you use Ann’s Place Festival of Trees (“Festival”) website is important to Ann’s Place. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose information from you gathered at our website. This applies only to the on-line information-gathering and sharing practices occurring on our website www.AnnsPlaceFestialOfTrees.org. Our confidential cancer support services, general donor, and client information are handled separately by the Ann’s Place, Inc. office and its www.annsplace.org website.

Non-personally-identifiable information: Comparable with other Web servers, the Festival of Trees web server for Ann’s Place automatically creates log files for each visitor who accesses our site. As a condition of employment, our staff members and volunteers sign a confidentiality pledge for non-disclosure of personal or financial information of clients, donors, and volunteers of Ann’s Place. We take every precaution to ensure your data is handled with respect and attention to detail for accurate processing. We use a PCI (Payment Card Industry)-compliant payment service provider over a secure network.

Our website contains links to other websites operated by our partners, sponsors, vendors, or other third parties which are covered by their own privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to them. We have no control over their collection of information, use, and disclosure practices. Children’s use of the Festival of Trees website

This website is not intended for children under thirteen (13) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under age 13 without verification of parental/legal guardian consent. If you are under 13 years of age, please do not use or provide any information on or through our website. If you believe we have such information from or about a child under the age of 13, please email us at festival@annsplace.org. If your family would like to participate in a Festival contest(s), you may include your children in the project with parental consent and registration by a parent. Names and ages of the children should not be included with information to be published. If you provide your written consent, you may include their image in a family photo. We sometimes post photos of children with their parents or in groups at live public events, but we do not include personally identifying information. In the 2020 Festival Contests, there are not live public components.

Our website is hosted in and governed by the laws of the United States. The Festival of Trees 2020 Holidays@Home Contest is not open to non-US citizens.
